The team behind Neuralfin

At NeuralFin, our mission is driven by a multidisciplinary team of marine biologists, AI engineers, and conservation specialists working at the intersection of science and technology. Our biologists contribute years of field expertise studying sharks in their natural environments, while our AI researchers design advanced biometric recognition systems capable of distinguishing individual sharks with scientific precision.

This collaboration enables us to generate new insights into shark ecology, population dynamics, and movement patterns. United by a commitment to advancing marine science, the NeuralFin team is redefining how research, data, and public participation come together to support the future of sharks and the ecosystems they sustain.

OUR FOUNDERS

Bradley Bugden

CO-FOUNDER

Bradley Bugden is an Australian marine biologist and diver with international research experience across the Great Barrier Reef and the Indian Ocean. His work centres on elasmobranch ecology, species identification, and conservation management. As co-founder of NeuralFin, he applies his scientific expertise to advancing non-invasive shark identification, supporting global research and innovation in marine science.

Kendall Williams

CO-FOUNDER

Kendall is an underwater photographer, videographer and conservationist based on the East Coast of Australia and Fuvahmulah, Maldives (AKA Tiger Shark Island).

She discovered her love for the underwater world five years ago while snorkelling at her local beach. She was lucky enough to encounter her first shark, a tiger shark. Since then, her passion for marine conservation and photography was born.

Kendall aims to raise awareness about marine life and conservation issues, helping people understand and protect our oceans through her underwater photography, videography and expedition (Odysea Encounters) work.

You can find her work via @kendallrosephoto on Instagram.
